    About The
    Photographer

“My desire is to use the talent and inspiration God has allowed me in photography to bless each person He brings me into contact with. I hope that everyone who steps in front of my camera feels loved, to feel that they are valued, and to see they are a unique individual created by God to be exactly who they are. It’s not about me, the photographer; it’s about YOU: your vision, your desired outcome, and your joy in seeing your portraits. I want you to feel blessed when we complete the process of taking your portraits.”

I began my journey in photography many years ago as a young adult. My dad was our family photographer and we always had fun when he had the camera in his hands. We had many great laughs trying to capture family portraits with the self-timer, him running from the camera trying to get into the photo before the shutter released. They are still fun photos to look at today and to remember the laughter surrounding them.

My love for photography has grown through the years and evolved from film photography into the age of digital photography. My husband and my children are my cheerleaders, encouraging me, cheering me on, and supporting every step I take. I have 3 boys and have “trained” them to be my best subjects when I need someone to practice on. They are mostly willing and, along the way, they have learned many of the basic skills and knowledge to set them on their own pathway to love the process of capturing life’s treasured memories and moments in time.

My true passion for photography is fueled by my love for people. I am passionate about encouraging others to grow and see their potential. I am a “can do” thinker and a “get it done now” personality. The creative process is something I enjoy working with my clients on. I value their input and ideas and prefer to work as a team.

I love interacting with people and love showing them that God created beauty in each individual. We just have to be willing to see ourselves as His creations, unique, valued, and loved. If I’ve been able to help you see yourself in that light, then I’ve accomplished the task set before me.
